Do I need needlepoint experience to join a class?

Not at all. Many of our workshops are designed specifically for beginners who are curious about learning needlepoint for the first time. Each class walks through the process step-by-step so you can feel confident and enjoy the experience.

Are online workshops live or recorded?

Our online workshops are typically hosted live so you can learn and paint along in real time. Many sessions are also recorded so if you can’t attend live, you’ll still be able to watch and follow along at your own pace.

What supplies do I need for online classes?

Supply requirements vary depending on the class. Some workshops include a kit mailed to you ahead of time with the materials you need, including paint colors and tools. For other sessions, we will provide a recommended supply list after registration.

What is the Paint With Me Monthly Club?

The Paint With Me Monthly Club is a subscription-based workshop where we paint a new needlepoint canvas together each month. Members receive a monthly kit with supplies and access to recorded instructional sessions so you can learn the painting techniques at your own pace.

Can beginners join the Paint With Me Monthly Club?

Yes! The monthly painting sessions are designed so beginners can follow along while still offering techniques that experienced stitchers/ painters will enjoy learning. It's a new canvas every month!

Where are in-person classes held?

In-person workshops are currently offered throughout the greater Nashville area, including Nashville, Brentwood, Nolensville, Franklin, and Murfreesboro.

Can I host a private needlepoint class with my friends?

Yes! Private classes are a wonderful way to gather friends for a creative night together. We require a minimum of five participants for private workshops hosted in your home or event space.

What types of classes can be hosted privately?

Private groups can request beginner needlepoint classes or canvas painting workshops. If you’re interested in hosting, join the waitlist and let us know what type of event you’d like to organize.

How long are workshops typically?

Most workshops range from 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the topic and format. Online sessions may also include additional recorded instruction you can watch afterward.

What will I learn in the canvas painting workshop?

In the canvas painting workshop you will learn how to paint your own needlepoint canvas using the AW Needlework painting methods. This includes understanding the design layout, selecting the right tools, and learning multiple techniques for transferring and painting the design clearly.

How do I sign up for a class?

At this time we are building a waitlist for upcoming workshops and events. When you join the waitlist, you will be notified first when registration opens for new classes.

Will more classes be added in the future?

Yes! We plan to expand both online workshops and in-person events. Joining the waitlist helps us understand what classes people are most interested in so we can schedule future workshops accordingly.
