Shipping Policy

AW Needlework Designs

At AW Needlework Designs, we do our best to process and ship orders as quickly as possible while maintaining the quality and care our products require. Because some of our items are ready-to-ship and others are custom, personalized, or made-to-order, processing times may vary by product.

Please review the shipping information below before placing your order.

 

Order Processing Times

Processing time is the time needed to prepare your order before it is shipped.

 

Ready-to-Ship Physical Products

Ready-to-ship items are typically processed and shipped as soon as possible, usually within 3–5 business days, unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

 

Custom, Personalized, and Made-to-Order Items

Custom and personalized orders require additional time because each item is created with a personal touch.

Production for custom orders may take up to 2 weeks before the item is shipped. This includes time needed to create artwork, review personalization details, prepare the design, and complete the production process.

After production is complete, standard shipping and handling times apply.

Custom items may include, but are not limited to:

  • Custom silhouette needlepoint canvases

  • Personalized needlepoint canvases

  • Custom-painted or custom-printed canvases

  • Made-to-order needlepoint products

  • Products created from a customer-submitted photo, name, initials, artwork, color request, or other personalization detail

If a product has a longer or different production timeline, that information may be listed on the individual product page.

 

Digital Products

Digital products are not shipped physically.

Digital items may be delivered by download link, email, customer account access, or another digital delivery method. Delivery timing may vary depending on the product and delivery system used.

If you purchase a digital product and do not receive access to your file, please contact us so we can help.

 

Shipping Rates

We strive to keep shipping rates fair and reasonable for our customers.

Shipping rates may be calculated based on factors such as:

  • Package size and weight

  • Shipping destination

  • Shipping method selected

  • Carrier rates

  • Packaging and handling needs

  • Current market shipping costs

 

AW Needlework Designs may use market-based shipping rates, flat-rate shipping, discounted shipping, or promotional shipping offers at our discretion.

Shipping costs, discounts, thresholds, and available shipping methods may change from time to time based on market pricing, carrier availability, and business needs.

All final shipping costs will be shown at checkout before your order is completed.

 

Shipping Discounts and Promotions

From time to time, AW Needlework Designs may offer shipping discounts, free shipping thresholds, or promotional shipping rates.

These offers may be based on order value, product type, customer group, promotion, or other criteria determined by AW Needlework Designs.

Shipping promotions are subject to change and may not apply to all products, orders, or locations.

 

Shipping Carriers

We may ship orders using carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other available carriers.

The carrier used for your order may depend on the destination, package size, shipping method selected, service availability, and current carrier pricing.

AW Needlework Designs reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier for each shipment unless a specific shipping method is offered and selected at checkout.

 

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times begin after your order has been processed and shipped.

Estimated delivery times depend on the shipping carrier and service selected at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless specifically stated by the carrier.

Please note that shipping delays may occur due to weather, holidays, carrier delays, high-volume seasons, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside of our control.

 

Order Tracking

When tracking is available, you will receive tracking information by email once your order has shipped.

Please allow time for the carrier to scan and update tracking details after the label has been created.

 

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.

Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order. AW Needlework Designs is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

If you notice an address error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address before shipment, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order is in production, packed, or shipped.

 

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery timing and handling are managed by the carrier.

If your package is delayed, lost, or marked as delivered but not received, please contact the carrier first using the tracking information provided.

You may also contact us, and we will do our best to help guide you through the next steps. However, AW Needlework Designs is not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, stolen, or misdelivered after they have been accepted by the shipping carrier.

 

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Clear photos of the packaging

  • Any visible damage to the shipping box or mailer

We will review the information and determine the best next step, which may include a replacement, repair, store credit, refund, or carrier claim depending on the situation.

 

Split Shipments

Some orders may ship in multiple packages, especially if the order includes both ready-to-ship and made-to-order items.

If your order ships in multiple packages, you may receive more than one tracking number.

 

Local Pickup or Local Delivery

If local pickup or local delivery is offered, the available options will be shown at checkout or communicated separately.

Local pickup and delivery availability may vary and may not be available for all products or customers.

 

International Shipping

At this time, AW Needlework Designs may limit shipping to selected locations.

If international shipping is offered, customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage fees, or other charges required by the destination country.

International delivery times may vary and may be delayed due to customs processing or carrier limitations.

 

Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to request a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

For ready-to-ship items, we may not be able to make changes once the order has been packed or shipped.

For custom, personalized, digital, or made-to-order items, cancellations or changes may not be possible once production has begun or the digital item has been delivered.
